Job Purpose

Commercial Performance Analytics specialist will proactively & regularly analyze large amounts of data to find patterns and insights that will help answer business questions as well as improving the performance metrics of the organization. The individual will build quality reporting tools/products and extract valuable business insights. The role requires a highly technical and analytical individual with a knack for analysis, mathematics, programming and statistics. A critical thinker with problem solving skills and the ability to connect the dots to relay the story to management using data analytics. With a passion for building backend procedures and front end reporting tools, he/she will be the go to person for the business to provide meaningful information. Supports the entire commercial strategy team in collecting, cleaning, structuring and analyzing data generated through data cubes or reporting systems. This includes supporting in identifying and creating key performance indicators for rollouts of initiatives or mapping different KPIs for comparisons of similar initiatives, as well as ad-hoc analysis to help understand the value of a proposed or launched product/service.  They will also participate in commercial forecasting and the setting of commercial targets.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities

Report and analyze all commercial KPIs on daily, weekly and monthly basis and communicate them to all concerned parties within and outside the commercial departmentPerform “deep dives” into data sets to identify issues or areas of improvement and support reporting narratives by aggregating large, complex data sets from multiple databases and create insight reportsSurveil performance for all campaigns, offers and initiatives -new or existing- across all geographies and segments within our diverse operating footprintPropose, build and present reports and dashboards using state of the art data visualization techniques with thorough justifications as well as recommending & implementing improvements to reports & its processing timeTransforms unstructured or ambiguous data into structured and usable data sets that can be analyzed to extract insights, ensures data quality, adherence to departmental guidelines, profitability, business impact, and other risk-related metricsBuild solutions that provide leadership the ability to assess organization performance rapidly to meet demands for nimble adjustmentsRegularly conduct internal review process of report for improvement & increase in efficiency as well as follow  business needs and change requirements for commercial KPIs with DWH & propose KPIs for new and existing productsProficient in converting business needs into technical requirements by gathering requirements and leading prototype for all commercial initiatives and  maintain appropriate documentation for data mart and BI platformResponsible for the overall implementation, maintenance and follow up of the BI Infrastructure in coordination with DWH team as well as identification of all data sources, automating data collection processes and collaboration in cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources into our existing data infrastructureAssist and participate in the setting of commercial targets, budget, strategy & business plan exercisesUndertake any additional departmental tasks/activities as assigned by the Strategy Manager and provide frequent feedback and reports as requiredResponsible for the security, confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s information security policies

What Do You Need to Qualify

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, School of Mathematical Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or Digital MarketingMaster’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration or any other related STEM field preferred3-5 years of relevant professional experience working within an Analytics, Marketing, Business Intelligence or Strategic Planning function of a large organization with an established reputation for measuring business performance (e.g., telecom, mobile, financial services, consulting, etc.)Demonstrated expertise with techniques and methodologies for statistical analysis and modeling (supervised and unsupervised), with the rigor required for presenting analysis resultsDemonstrated deep expertise and knowledge in the business application of analytics across various commercial disciplinesExperience in Business Intelligence and database technologies as applied in support of analytics and reporting and in developing solutions for data mining and/or statistical analysisWorking experience and expertise around collecting, cleaning, structuring and analyzing data generated through data marts & data cubesExperience with establishing metrics, key performance indicators, and scorecards, including setting targets, benchmarking, analysis and recommendationsExperience with business analytics/reporting, data mining, big data analytics and statistical analysisExcellent understanding of data warehouses / data-marts and dimensional data models

Skills
